Ditech Networks (News - Alert), Inc., a supplier of voice processing equipment for telecommunication networks recently announced that Todd Simpson, former CEO of Jasomi Networks, has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing.
Todd will be leading all the marketing initiatives at Ditech, including: market strategy, product management, corporate communications, and marketing programs.
Headquartered in Mountain View, California and serving over 150 million subscribers, Ditech Networks’ solutions include advanced voice processing, Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP
), and security technologies sent on carrier-grade scalable platforms.
This strategic move was made after Ditech's acquisition of Jasomi Networks, a supplier of VoIP
session border controllers, in June, 2005. Ever since, Todd was involved in a number of senior management roles at Ditech.
In his earlier stint as the President and CEO of Jasomi, Todd established the company as a thought leader in the marketplace. Todd also served as the CTO of Zi Corporation prior to joining Jasomi and established several successful Canadian high-tech firms in his earlier roles. In addition, Todd completed a PhD in Computer Science and has several patents to his name.
According to Tim Montgomery, Ditech’s CEO, President and Chairman, “Todd brings a wealth of leadership experience and market insight to his new position."
