In addition to resell CloudShield’s products, Alcatel-Lucent will operate as a primary network integrator for service providers worldwide to develop applications using CloudShield’s packet programming capabilities.

statement.
Jones said that with the combined expertise of their companies, they have the opportunity to give service providers around the world access to their leading capabilities and solutions.
CloudShield’s solutions can inspect, analyze, control and secure IP

network services - including voice, video and data - at multi-gigabit rates from a single, flexible and scalable platform. Presently, CloudShield systems are deployed by some of the largest network service providers in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
By assessing the customer’s security architecture and network traffic, Alcatel-Lucent security experts identify vulnerabilities or bandwidth problems and then provide a recommended architecture, along with security policies, configurations and the customized security application, which is then integrated and tested. The company can continue to work with the customer to fine-tune the solutions as new services are introduced, and to manage the evolving threat landscape.
