Kingston Technology Company, Inc., which provides memory products, has partnered with eMusic, a retailer of independent music and digital music service, to offer consumers a special download promotion.
A cornucopia of songs from independent artists has been introduced to the growing global community of mobile phone consumers on the Kingston Mobile Phone Village.
According to Wendy Lecot, Flash memory marketing manager, Kingston, this introductory promotion was created by both companies to give users the opportunity to sample how easy it is to use a Flash memory card, listen to music on one’s mobile phone and then enjoy it again on an MP3 player or computer.
Lecot said in a
press release that by signing up for a free eMusic trial, visitors to the Kingston Mobile Phone Village can browse through a multitude of great songs and download up to 50 free titles.
Kingston will work with eMusic and online advertising sites to drive traffic to its Mobile Phone Village (MPV) and guide consumers to the eMusic Web site. The site offers a choice of more than 1,900,000 available music titles.
Kingston site visitors can benefit from the promotion, which is running now through January 2007 to download 50 free songs onto their Flash memory cards with a free 14-day eMusic trial subscription.
Additionally, consumers can access the promotion through the Mobile Phone Village, and have the option to keep the 50 free MP3s just for checking out eMusic. Moreover the Mobile Phone Village site offers a list of e-tailers for consumers to purchase mobile memory cards.
Based in New York with an office in London, eMusic is a digital retailer of independent music. The eMusic Web site reportedly offers a global catalogue of more than 1.9 million tracks from established and emerging artists in every genre from the world's leading independent labels.
