VoxOx by TelCentris Receives Nomination for First Annual People's Choice Stevie Awards
Apr 26, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
TelCentris, Inc., a telephony company based in San Diego, announced that its free consumer service, VoxOx, has been nominated as a Favorite Desktop/End User Software alongside major brands, including Firefox, Adobe, Microsoft, and others in the first ever People's Choice Stevie Awards.
Award results are based on a public vote, open now through June 1. The Stevie Awards organization will choose two voters at random in early June to receive a $1,000 Amazon.com gift card.
VoxOx, which is currently in beta, unifies communication channels -- voice, video, IM, text, social media, e-mail, fax and more -- into a single, intuitive user interface. As the first and only true "Universal Communicator Service," VoxOx combines the benefits of Internet-telephony/VoIP solutions, interoperable Instant Messengers (IMs), social networking aggregators and inbound call management programs.
"This award nomination is especially important to us as the outcome is determined by positive feedback from our users," said Bryan Hertz, CEO of TelCentris. "With the increasing number of communication channels, there's a need for a single tool that manages all connections and contacts and ultimately makes life easier. VoxOx addresses this issue of communication overload - if the public selected us for this award, the validation would be an honor."
To vote for VoxOx, visit peopleschoice.stevieawards.com before June 1, select "Favorite Desktop/End User Software" category and select "TelCentris' VoxOx 'Universal Communicator Service'".
Winners of the People's Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products will be determined in early June and honored at the ABA's seventh annual awards gala in New York on June 22.
