"With the global reach and reliable network connectivity we require, supported by superior customer support, Global Crossing is a valuable partner."
The Global Crossing comprehensive, end-to-end network management system enables GoDaddy.com to monitor traffic 24 hours a day, seven days a week for unsurpassed reliability.
Global Crossing’s solution also allows GoDaddy.com to enjoy always-on, direct high-speed connectivity to the Internet, while providing alternative routing

and peering for GoDaddy.com’s customers.
"GoDaddy.com is a prime example of the growing service provider market our network was designed to serve," said John Legere, Global Crossing's CEO, in Thursday’s statement.
"GoDaddy.com is a leader in their industry and constantly strives to make sure they provide the best possible service for their customers. We're pleased to support GoDaddy.com to ensure their growing bandwidth needs are met quickly and reliably."
The Global Crossing DIA provides always-on, direct high-speed global Internet connections at speeds that range from 56/54 Kbps to OC48/STM16. The service also provides Fast Ethernet

, Gigabit Ethernet and even 10-Gigabit Ethernet.
Global Crossing’s fully-meshed IP network, incorporating Multiprotocol Label Switching-traffic engineering (MPLS-te) as a backbone transport technology, is designed to deliver the ultimate in network resiliency and flexibility.
DIA provides access to Global Crossing’s portfolio of converged IP services, which include Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and IP video. Frame Relay and ATM

customers can also benefit from DIA through internetworking.
Global Crossing has made a name for itself in the industry by providing telecommunications solutions over the world’s first integrated global IP-based network. The core network connects roughly 390 cities in more than 30 countries worldwide, while also delivering services to approximately 690 cities in more than 60 countries and six continents around the world.
GoDaddy.com has focused much of its business initiatives on customer-centric strategies to ensure that their customers have an optimum experience when using any of GoDaddy.com’s solutions. Having such high standards meant that any vendor awarded their contract would have to deliver the same.
Global Crossing appears to have met the qualifications to deliver the networking reliability, security and functionality that GoDaddy.com demanded to ensure consistent performance.
