By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

Teltronics (News - Alert), a provider of communication solutions, has partnered with Shorecrest Preparatory School, an independent day school in Florida, to support their annual phone-a-thon with the Teltronics Cerato Vision IP voice switches.

This month, Teltronics announced the release of the Cerato family of products. According to the company, the Cerato SE, Cerato Vision IP and Cerato ME/LE products feature “exceptional voice quality, ease-of-use, and productivity enhancing applications, scalability, as well as outstanding customer support.”

The Cerato Vision IP voice switches are built to provide the “essential telephony needs of stand-alone businesses and networked remote offices that want improved, cost-effective communications between employees, prospects and customers."

“Having a partner like Teltronics is important to our school. The cutting- edge technology of the Cerato Vision IP solution effectively addressed our demands in creating a successful phone-a-thon,” Gary Butts, director of Advancement at Shorecrest said.

He also pointed out that the stand-alone option offered the school the best solution in accomplishing their objective.

Shorecrest volunteers successfully solicited caller donations totalling $45,000 using both digital and analog switches connected to 30 phones, which according to Butts enabled the school to raise 90 percent of their goal for the evening.

Butts explained that Shorecrest's annual fund provides their students a better opportunity to exceed “intellectually, morally, artistically, physically and with a responsibility to local and global communities.”

“Teltronics was excited about the opportunity to assist Shorecrest with their annual phone-a-thon,” said Ewen Cameron, president and CEO at Teltronics.

He also pointed out that Teltronics is always committed to providing cutting edge solutions to “our customers and we are happy the school had the opportunity to experience the voice quality, reliability and features of the Cerato Vision IP.”

Teltronics designs, develops and manufactures electronic equipment and software applications, and also develops VoIP and digital voice communications platforms and software as well as contact center solutions.
