Home2Office Forges Business Alliance with the Work Design Collaborative

By Niladri Sekhar Nath, TMCnet Contributor

Home2Office, a provider of IT solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, has entered into a strategic alliance with the Work Design Collaborative (WDC). Home2Office, LLC (H2O) is developer of a patent-pending business telecommuting solution called The Managed Telecommute. WDC offers business research and advisory services and is the creator of the Workplace Innovation and Performance Network (WIPN), formerly the Future of Work global community. WIPN partners include HP, Accenture (News - Alert), Boeing, and Scan Health Plan.

"We recognized early on that Home2Office offered a totally unique solution. Their unique teleworker portal offers benefits we have not seen in this market space,” said Charles Grantham, co-author of Corporate Agility and executive producer and co-founder of the WDC. “Our association with Home2Office adds real value to our consultative proposition of how to organize, support and manage the distributed workforce of tomorrow."

The consortium concentrates on achieving new levels of workforce and workplace productivity. Both WDC and Home2Office recognized their complementary services when working jointly on behalf of a shared client who was seeking to deploy a two hundred-employee teleworker program.

"We're extremely proud to be associated with WDC co-founders and authors James Ware and Charles Grantham. Their book Corporate Agility expertly details the case for dramatic change in the way organizations manage their remote workforce,” said Edmon Hagee, CEO of Home2Office, LLC. “These guys are real experts who have been in this industry for many years. It's an honor to be officially associated with such 'thought leaders' who are changing the face of tomorrow's workspace."

WDC felt that it was not just enough to give employees a cable modem and send them home to work. There are multiple success criteria when deploying an effective telecommuting solution and the H2O portal simplified the challenge.
