Symmetricom to Change the Way People Monitor QoS and QoE
By Rich Tehrani, CEO, Technology Marketing Corporation
Symmetricom (News - Alert), a designer and manufacturer of atomic clocks and network synchronization and timing solutions used in wireline and wireless telecom networks and enterprise IT networks, has been synchronizing and distributing precise time and frequency signals to customers throughout the world since 1985.
Their 'Perfect Timing' solutions are deployed in more than 90 countries and include primary reference sources, building integrated timing supplies (BITS), GPS timing receivers, time and frequency distribution systems, network time servers and ruggedized oscillators.
Most recently, the company announced its latest PCI time and frequency processor modules, the bc635PCI-V2 and GPS referenced bc637PCI-V2.
These modules provide very precise time for government, aerospace and financial applications that require tight integration between the application and the host computer.
I recently caught up with Dr. Stefan Winkler, Principal Technologist at Symmetricom to find out more about Symmetricom and their participation at the upcoming ITEXPO next month in Los Angeles
