By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor

ASC will be demonstrating its new integrated IP Recording Solution for Avaya (News - Alert) Integral Enterprise at the 2009 Avaya EMEA Partner Conference. The conference will be held Sept. 10-12 at the Melia Castilla in Madrid, Spain. ASC provides innovative solutions to record, analyze and evaluate multi-media based communications. The solutions from ASC (News - Alert) include workforce optimization, e-learning and e-coaching. Headquartered in Hoesbach, Germany, the company was founded in 1964.

“We continuously develop new and update existing integrations to keep pace with new IP communication solutions on the market, one reason why we invest almost 20 percent of our revenues in research and development. Our solution for Avaya Integral Enterprise shows the superior results of this approach,” Harald Zapp (News - Alert), the COO of ASC, said.

Since the solutions from ASC is based on open architecture, they are able to seamlessly integrate into any IT and communications environment. Another feature of ASC solutions is its multi-tenancy capability, which gives service providers the opportunity to open up new business sectors.

More than 300 principals and directors from Avaya’s Enterprise Business Partners will attend the conference. They will also showcase the latest systems from Avaya and its partners in the “Interactive Solutions Fair.” The integrated IP recording system from ASC is the only system that is fully compatible with the new Avaya Integral Enterprise.

This solution offers silent, centralized and active recording and record more than 200 calls simultaneously. It provides a recording planner and also offers archiving on DVD, Iomega REV, USB devices or NAS. A secure network, web connections, as well as fail-safe and fault-tolerant operations, is also provided.

During a conversation, agents will be able to alternate between a keep and delete mode. The final selection will determine how the call is treated. Unless otherwise indicated by agents, calls will be automatically deleted for protection of privacy. It also enables the preservation of threatening calls in full at any point during the conversation. ASC also offers recording solutions that are compatible with the Avaya Communications Manager and IP Trade environments. These systems also use CTI (News - Alert) in order to preserve additional call-index data like call direction, agent ID and third-party phone numbers.
