Cisco has announced it is all set to introduce its latest IP camera, the Linksys (News - Alert) by Cisco Wireless-G PTZ (Pan, Tilt and Zoom) Internet Camera with Audio (WVC210) for small business users. The camera includes an enhanced feature set and sophisticated video monitoring software bundled at no charge with each camera purchase.

 

The customizable Linksys by Cisco (News - Alert) WVC210 surveillance camera is designed for business and security applications, providing small businesses and resellers with an affordable yet powerful surveillance and monitoring solution.

 

The wireless WVC210 mounts on a desktop or wall-mount and allows small business owners to monitor and protect their premises remotely with live streaming video and two-way audio as well as receive real-time email alerts when motion is detected.

 

Small business owners can use the WVC210 camera as a physical security solution for loss prevention, safety and security, and remote monitoring of high traffic and high value areas such as point-of-sale, front lobbies, delivery docks and main entryways. It features enhanced low-light performance, ideal for warehouse, office or night shooting.

 

The camera also features the LBAVMS16 video monitoring system software, which significantly expands on the video monitoring software capabilities of previous utility versions - supporting the simultaneous monitoring, recording and management of 16 cameras from its monitoring console.

 

The software also works with any of the compatible Linksys by Cisco Business Series Surveillance Products. The WVC210 camera, including the LBAVMS16 software, is available immediately through distributors and Value Added Resellers (VARs).
