Deutsche Telekom Enhances VoIP Application Using Paradial's Solution
By Jyothi Shanbhag TMCnet Contributing Editor Deutsche Telekom is one of the leading telecommunications companies has enhanced the Voice/Video-over-IP application Internet-Telefon using Paradial’s RealTunnel Firewall/NAT traversal solution.
Deutsche Telekom (News - Alert) serves more than 119 million mobile customers, around 37 million fixed-network lines and more than 13 million broadband lines. It offers its customers around the world modern telecommunications products and services from a single source – fixed-network telephony, broadband Internet, mobile communications and ICT solutions.
The new enhancement helps its customers to use variety of services like placing and receiving high quality audio and video calls, chatting, sending and receiving files, even when located behind strict private, public and corporate firewalls.
RealTunnel used by Deutsche, is Paradial’s (News - Alert) main stream product, known as secure and reliable solution which enables IM (Instant Messaging), IP-telephony and video conferencing customers to perform real-time voice and video communications across any firewall and NAT devices.
RealTunnel ensures the higest call success rate available and can be offered OEM/white label. The solution comprises a client and server part which is standard based and may run independently of each other. It can be configured and setup as a VoIP SSL VPN. It is also ideal for P2P (peer-to-peer) and music/content distribution.

Paradial recently announced the availability of Paradial Advanced Network Emulator (PANE) which helps organizations test, verify and deploy IP-based audio and video communication solutions across different network environments such as firewalls and Network Address Translation (NAT) barriers.
