INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine has selected Hatteras Networks’ (News - Alert) third-generation HN4000 EtherFLEX service delivery product for the prestigious 2008 Product of the Year Award.

Hatteras Networks’ officials inform that their HN4000 EtherFLEX products enable carriers to deliver 10 times more bandwidth at one-tenth the cost over existing infrastructure.

 

This third-generation of the HN4000 family has the ability to deliver high bandwidth fiber-quality Ethernet services over bonded copper pairs. The products leverage the latest innovations in service delivery to reduce a carrier’s time to revenue and operational costs for deploying new services by integrating copper loop qualification, management and monitoring capabilities.
