TelcoBridges Announces Tmonitor Product Line Expansion for Service Providers at ITEXPO
By Amy Tierney TMCnet Web Editor TelcoBridges (News - Alert), Inc., a supplier of hardware and software for telecom system integrators, solution developers and service providers, announced today at Technology Marketing Corporation’s ITEXPO West 2009 that it expanded its Tmonitor product line to service providers.
The new Tmonitor TM2000 and TM3000 real time, high-density network monitoring devices, which
detect, filter, and record all signaling and voice traffic, will help solutions developers develop next-generation network monitoring, lawful intercept and location-based services applications.
Each solution builds on TelcoBridges' Tmonitor TM1000 platform. The Tmonitor TM2000 offers four times the data capture capacity of the TM1000 - increasing the number of HDLC controllers from 512 to 2048 - while it maintains the ability to monitor up to 64 T1/E1/J1. Meanwhile, the TM3000 is TelcoBridges' highest capacity offering, which gives users OC3/STM-1 support over T1/E1/J1 connections, as well as dedicated voice-recording capacity.
The TM2000 or TM3000 devices can be clustered together in one or more facilities to offer unlimited scalability, company officials said. And unlike software-based solutions running on the core network, Tmonitor devices have no additional traffic or load requirements to capture data.
TelcoBridges, a Gold Sponsor of ITEXPO (News - Alert), is exhibiting its solutions in booth # 624 at ITEXPO, which is currently underway at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The event, which runs through Sept. 3, offers teaches resellers, enterprises, SMBs, and government agencies how to select IP-based voice, video, fax, and unified communications to purchase or resell.
TelcoBridges' Tmonitor solutions are designed to help service providers meet operational and regulatory requirements, while helping them monetize data generated by network activity. The solutions address three markets:
Network Monitoring: The Tmonitor solutions helps service providers monitor networks to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations for capacity and responsiveness. They also support mobile network optimization, call record reconciliation, fraud detection, and roaming subscriber detection and capture applications.
Lawful Intercept: Lawful intercept activities, such as wiretapping, are legal requirements mandated by the government. Such compliance has increased the cost of network operations without delivering upside to the provider. TelcoBridges' Tmonitor solutions helps service providers tap into networks without being noticed by the target, or interrupting service.
Location-Based Services: Initially put in place to support E-911 regulations in the U.S., TelcoBridges' Tmonitor devices help mobile service providers further monetize subscribers’ activity.
“Our newest monitoring solutions round out our product line, enhancing the TelcoBridges value proposition for solutions developers and mobile operators around the globe,” Danny P. Blouin, vice president of marketing, TelcoBridges, said in a statement.
