Integra Telecom Inc., an integrated business communications provider, announced recently that it has invested an additional $3 million in its Colorado telecom network.

 

This investment to upgrade its network has helped the company to expand its service area and add products including VPN solutions, an IP-VPN service providing a secure, multi-site, private network, and more.

 

“We’re excited to have made such substantial investments in our Colorado network and to expand our service area and portfolio of voice and data solutions for businesses,” said Ken Worcester, senior vice president of Integra Telecom (News - Alert) of Colorado.

 

“These services give Integra customers a competitive edge by eliminating excess costs, streamlining multiple telecommunications systems and providing robust connectivity,” Worcester said.

 

In addition to Ethernet and MPLS services, Integra Telecom is also offering Broadband Internet in its Colorado service areas from August 2009, which delivers enterprise-level Internet access at rates that fit the small- and medium-sized business budget.
