Broadvox Interoperable with STARFACE
By Brian Solomon, TMCnet Web Editor
Broadvox (News - Alert) is now officially interoperable with vertico software’s STARFACE Softphone system, according to a Broadvox announcement today.
“STARFACE was designed from the ground up to be a software based system, so it is very flexible in terms of deployment models, business environments and budgets, making it an ideal choice for SMBs ,” said Broadvox Director of Business Development Eric Eckman. “It also works well for businesses deploying IP
contact or call centers because companies can integrate all their phones into one centralized STARFACE system, whether they are phones in subsidiary offices, home offices, remote sales locations or telephones in the field.”
SMBs can achieve significant cost savings each month with Broadvox GO! SIP
Trunking products, compared to the cost of communication through more traditional telecommunications companies. The STARFACE system is browser-based, meaning it can be used immediately, without software installation and regardless of operating system.
The Broadvox SIP Trunking
offering includes E911, DIDs and local number portability. It offers unlimited local calling, toll free, nationwide and international calling. It also allows for business continuity during a crisis, dynamic load balancing and unlimited geographical distribution.
STARFACE debuted last fall in San Francisco at VoiceCon. A premium VoIP
telephone system designed for SMBs, it is completely software-based and platform-independent. It integrates seamlessly with existing IT landscapes and boasts virtually unlimited scalability and interoperability.
Businesses using STARFACE can choose which technologies to use and how to place calls. No special hardware or separate networks are required, and a company’s telecommunications stay flexible. The comprehensive package not only eliminates costly add-ons, but is also easy to use and manage. It is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux, and runs on all standard browsers.
